When the blood has elevated sugar level the beta (β) cell of Pancreas release insulin which lowers the blood glucose level whereas when the body has low blood sugar level the alpha (α) cell of the Pancreas release Glucagon which maintains the normal or healthy blood sugar level.
Type of Diabetes
Diabetes is also known as Diabetes Mellitus, and it is mainly divided into three groups which are listed below:
1. Type 1
Type 1 diabetes is also consider as insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus. Type 1 diabetes occurs mostly due to the loss of beta (β) cell which is responsible for the production of insulin. It also occurs due to the autoimmune disease and a genetic disorder.
2. Type 2
Type 2 diabetes occurs due to the insulin resistance, i.e., the cell fails to respond to insulin due to which the blood glucose level increases to the normal/average level. Thus type 2 Diabetes is regarded as non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus. The leading cause of type 2 diabetes is high body weight, lack of sufficient exercise, and many more.
3 Gestational Diabetes
When a pregnant lady experience high blood sugar concentration in blood without any previous diabetic history is regarded as gestational diabetes.
Diabetes Mellitus Symptoms
Diabetes has many symptoms out of which some are listed below:
- Hyperglycemia, i.e., a condition when the body glucose level is higher than the average/normal glucose level is consider is hyperglycemia

Performing regular exercise helps you to maintain or reduce your body weight and also enhance the insulin sensitivity; it means better regulation of blood sugar level. During training your body muscle also use blood glucose for the energy and muscle contraction hence it lower the body glucose level.
2. Keep Drinking Water Regularly
Consumption of sufficient water helps you to maintain your blood glucose level within the healthy or normal limits. Drinking high amount of water helps your kidney to eliminates the excess amount of blood sugar from the body through urination. But before consumption of water makes sure that your drinking water is adequately treated by water purification system or 100% contamination free.
3. Limit Your Crab Intake
A body converts carbohydrates into sugar. When the carbohydrates reached into the blood, from where insulin moves the sugar into the cell. When your body receives more concentration of carbohydrates this process falls which results in the elevated blood sugar level.
4. Avoid stress & get enough Sleep
Stress may also affect your body sugar level because some hormone such as Glucagon which increases the blood glucose level gets disturb hence your blood glucose level gets elevated. Sufficient sleep is essential for good health. Improper sleep and lack of rest may affect your blood glucose level and also change insulin sensitivity. It can increase the appetite which leads to high body weight.
